Front page? Really!? Are we deserving of this!?? I can already hear some JC kids going “Stupid Poly people…”, HUR HUR HUR. Whatever lah, don’t worry. Only a mere 25% OR LESS Poly students will make it through by endless rounds of special appeals..while I’m pretty sure over 60% or 70% of JC students will go through without any fuss. It’s just the discriminated-side of me being supremely childish, so ignore me. I was hoping that my friends will have an easier time this year applying, but I totally forgot about the Poly babies born in the Dragon year. Gah. I have an advice for Poly students though: If your parents can afford to send you overseas…then please go overseas. There’s no point in staying for a local degree. Do not be fooled by the glossy advertisements and world rankings here. THEY ARE FALSE. I hope La Nina will last for the rest of the year.
