a bittersweet feeling in me.

I went to check up on The Chronicles of Narnia on Wikipedia. And the ending (I am refering to the last book, The Last Battle) really gave me a saddened heart honestly. I have the whole series; well sort of the whole series, I am missing the first book “The Magician’s Nephew”, so I just read the last few chapters of The Last Battle. I must say the ending is really bittersweet for me. Personally, I hate bittersweet endings, really. I know TCON has Christian references, so I know how TCON is linking to the Bible, but the ending is from the book of Revelations and the book of Revelations has always given me a really bittersweet feeling. Like destruction for the building of something greater and happier. Like sadness for happiness. This is the only thing I just can’t be purely happy and sweet about. Sighs. Religion is tougher than we think right?
