as the dawn breaks…
It is 5.25am now. Okay it is 5.26am. This is the second time in my entire life that I did not sleep at night at all. No my friends, I have been awake since 9.35am yesterday morning. It is amazing how you suddenly feel this boost to stay high at all, and just when you are about to sleep, you think of accompanying your dad to watch the Live Telecast of the US Open Championship. It is the last day by the way. Some people I know, mostly my friends, commented that I post entries like I write essays or compositions. Oh really? Well yeah I admit I tend to be more lengthy. Honestly, I enjoy the time that I use to blog. It gives me time to think and reflect about what has happened, what is going on around me. In a way, it is helping me to describe the little things in life. Anyways, time passes really fast. It is 5.34 am now. As I blog, Dad is watching the LIVE telecast of the US Open whole-heartedly. He even cooked instant noodles for the both of us so that we would not be so hungry watching the Open. As I blog, I look out the balcony and see little specks of lights glittering. After a bit more time, the specks evolve into blocks. An increasing number of families are waking up. My friends, this is what happens when you have a busy and chaotic school life, with all that leadership positions and still trying to lead another life, which is virtual. In my case, it is my neopets life. I am really grateful for the fact that I have 1 more week of holidays. Well in total, I only have 2 weeks, but when a rest is dued, a rest is dued. If I am still up and having school later that day, I am going to die literally. I would be so tired that the Lord would know if I can even survive. In 15 mins time, it would be 6am, and that’s when the chaos begins as usual. You hear alarm clocks ringing loudly, then maybe some neighbour’s dog would start making itself heard as an alarm clock and an annoyance. Dad is still so attentive to the golf game, whereas I find myself struggling to keep awake. Tiger Woods is my golf idol. I mean he is so talented and skilled. I really want to see to the end of the game.. but it would end at 9 something.. that would mean I have not slept for the last 24 hours.. OMG. The sound of the bus can be heard. Yep, the world around me is starting to wake up.. oh wells, I shall sleep while they wake up.. I pray very hard for my Altador Cup team..we have the worst line up for week 1.
