day 1: bAoc: return of the heroes!
By the way, if you don’t know, I am in Dare Devil3! Anyways, today was Day 1 of the orientation (bAoc) and it was awesome! ZhiQing (ZQ) was so funny! She kept recommending the different delicious food to try in all the different cafes and canteens. And her classic quote was “First day of school must try”. Yah, in the end, we memorised the quote well enough already XD Honestly ZQ can be those foodie tv host haha =P We learnt some cheers and played some games. Then there was this game; it was like Limbo (where you have to go under the pole and the pole gets lower and lower) but then with something different. There would be a hostage then the rest of the team is supposed to save the hostage. So everyone must try to go under the pole (including saying 3 sentences of themselves) within 2 mins. Then I was the hostage. So I was spared with any bending of the back hahaha. I think my student buddies (SBs) and student coordinators(SCs) were really sweet. Cause they knew of my back problem and then they didn’t want me to be like missed out, so they made me the hostage.. well that is what I figured out =) I made some cool friends too =) like Xue Li, Pei Suan, Stephanie/Stefanie (haha another Stef!!!! I realised in primay school and secondary school I always had another Stef and NOW THIS), Amanda, Maggi (didn’t really talk to her), “Sure lose” (yah his name is actually pronouced as “Sure Win”, not sure of spelling) and others =) OMG. NP has a big library. Correction: It has a BIGBIGBIGBIGBIG=GINORMOUS library. 4 storeys?! It is a bookworm’s dream come true!! And there are reading corners also! And best of all, some of them are in block 72! That is my main block and block 73 for my tutorials. =))) But the different locations of the lecture theaters are confusing me! I will need more than 3 days to remember all the locations! Anyways, really enjoyed myself today! Especially all those stupid jokes =D I can’t wait to see what games we will be playing tomorrow! I will be wearing a white shirt, since I don’t have another red/maroon shirt (technically I can wear my st.margs house shirt, since it is red, but I don’t need to whole world to keep calling me the ST.MARGS girl) And tomorrow, we will be meeting at Macs for breakfast! (Did I say that NP has an ATM machine, book shops, and this shop selling electronic stuff INCLUDING laptop skins?!)
