Hihi USA (4)
I love my work here in the USA! I got promoted to possibly the highest-paying job around and well..it’s not easy. My hands have never suffered so many injuries/bruises and I have never stood so long for a single day before. But it’s a totally new experience..it’s challenging, and I get to meet a lot of people everyday (nice ones, grumpy/mean ones). I also made friends from places I’ll probably never go - like Ukraine. Love it! AND THE EYE CANDY HERE IS CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. The funny thing is the eye candy aren’t even the Caucasians! They are the Asians..like the Thai and Indian boys. Woooooooooooooooooooooot. I love my job! I check in at 1.30pm everyday and before I know it, it’s already midnight and time for me to leave. Love it Love it Love it! Sometimes I love it so much I feel sad about leaving work. I LOVE AMERICA. Now, hiking at the fabulous Grand Canyon! Hiking upwards at 7,000 feet of elevation is seriously no joke. The funny thing is we actually took more time going DOWN than going UP (which is the killer process) because the slope was so god damn slippery and narrow. One misstep and you can say byebye to your life. I had 21 minor-moderate slips and 1 near-death slip because of my sneakers..which are totally not meant for hiking. 100% concentration is also needed while hiking, especially when going down…I slipped most of the time simply because I turned my head/talked to my friends. Very rewarding experience! Hopefully I’ll be able to hike down to the Colorado River soon enough…without dying halfway. My residence. It’s very nice :). It’s funny how I’m still watching American shows on my laptop even though I’m already in America now. The irony.
