Hihi USA (8)
Very image heavy. Meeting during work. Top/Moon Rider/Razor/John from Michigan/Kittisuk (hahaha), possibly the most charismatic guy around in my workplace. Kitchen area. Bus area with Jeff. The super nice Thai girls. Alex, who makes fun of me incessantly. He once made me hold a plate of SUPER hot dish and I nearly cried out of pain. He’s a really great server plus he’s actually very sweet. Kevin, who’s a law student and whose dad is the Director of F&B in Grand Canyon South Rim. But he has NO AIRS at all and is super sweet to me. He’s a perfect gentleman too. A lot of people are missing from this photo. Busser, host, server. The lady on the far right is Rhonda, a 23-year-old pregnant with her second child - and she’s still working even though she’s 7 months into her pregnancy!!! Superwomen! Bar service area with Tookta - the sweetest, sweetest Thai girl I’ve met. She’s soooooo nice and I was soooo sad when she left. The Grand Canyon Railway. Attempting to hike the Bright Angel Trail! Destionation: Plateau Point. We could’ve gone down to Phantom Ranch and the Colorado River but I think that’s way pushing our limits. Fantastic echoes here. Indian Garden - home of the Havasupai Indians (the indigenous people of the Grand Canyon) in the past. Mule rides to take you down and back up the trail. Bookings must be made 13 months in advance. YESSSSSSSSSS! REACHED! It’s so amazing and surreal to hear the Colorado River roaring below me. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!!! The way back up was a complete pain in the ass and I had NO MOOD to take any photos. I’m surprised I actually made in back alive. Tookta’s last night Everything cooked by Tookta!!! Ready to head over to Top’s cabin. With Johnny the bartender, who was spending his last night in Grand Canyon too. He’s gonna explore Washington from now on. Moonrider and me. Mule farm…they stink. But they are very gentle animals..can pat them easily without any potential harm. However, it’s best to avoid them, stand aside and stay perfectly still if you meet them on the trails because both humans and mules have been injured during trail encounters. BBQ!!!!!! We are all living in the cabins now and it’s really fun! It’s like living in the outdoors 24/7! It’s really hard to start a fire because it’s sooooooo COLD. My cabin number. The fantastic night sky in Grand Canyon. I can even see the Milky Way and shooting stars frequently. IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL. The stars are really COUNTLESS. My cabin in the day. Love it. Maricopa Point. Powell Memorial. Hopi Point- an elevation of 7071 feet - one of the highest points in Grand Canyon. There is a point called the ‘Diminishing View’. Air pollution his affecting the view in Grand Canyon - on most days it can provide a view that goes as far as your naked eye can detect, but sometimes it gets clouded and smoky. Mule deers~~~ What happens when you ‘buy’ ice-cream from a fellow Singaporean? Wahhahahaa. The moon in the night sky. One has the perfect right to sing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars’ up here in the Grand Canyon.
