Hong Gil Dong Special
Heh. Thanks Liqing for the information!!! XD I found the subbed version on youtube. Part 1 , Part 2 , Part 3 , Part 4 , Part 5 , Part 6 , Part 7 [Credits: boosaysharingiscarin ] *screams at Jang Geun Suk* WHY ARE YOU SO GIRLISH IN BEHIND THE SCENES?!?!?! Oh gosh… I can’t stop thinking that he’s better off being a cute girl than a pretty boy. =X Ahhhhhh… whatever. haha. Maybe he’s just still a cute kid cuz he acts like one. lols. Oh gosh, and I totally forgot to review on Hong Gil Dong, which I thought I did!!! >_ Anyways, Hong Gil Dong is quite enjoyable to watch with laughter and tears and nice twists, despite the cheesiness sometimes. I love the plot, but I am kinda fussy about how the story flows. Must be all the dialogues and “say-out” actions (actions should be acted out instead of saying it out, which is a bit dumb) that are sooo wrong sometimes. =X Okok, maybe it’s just me being fussy. keke. But the actings are totally must-loves, espcially Kang Jihwan (acted as Hong Gil Dong)!!! XD And of course the other cast, like the crazy King; stupid Yi Nok; Hwal Bin Dang dudes and so on… But Kang Jihwan is uber good!!! hahaha.. And I can’t stop myself from grinning at Gil Dong & Yi Nok sweet moments!!! I especially love the scenes when Gil Dong is hugging Yi Nok from behind. Damn it, I will die for that kind of hugs!!! XD haha. I always wanted my other half in future will always hug me from the back. keke. =X hahahaha… maybe except when we are snatching something. XP Though this scene is kinda sad cuz Gil Dong can’t show himself in front of Yi Nok (but he had to save her from being killed by a tyrant!!!), it’s still freaking nice to watch. >_ And of course, didn’t I mention Kang Jihwan is uber zzang? Look at this picture!!! It totally makes my heart cringe!!! OMG, the tears!!! TT______TT and this one… red watery eyes. =S *hugs* One thing that I admire Hong Gil Dong a lot is his passion for his life. I mean, he’s one strong dude that won’t fall just because of what others said, which is seriously very admirable to me. Yeah, he will still feel depressed about those despicable society rules but who cares about what the other stupid people said? It’s his life and it’s unfair to perceive anyone in this world just by their status, backgrounds and gender. Hell man, those dumb people are so irritating, but I guess it’s always like that in historical times. =\ Oh, one of the reasons that made Hong Gil Dong so special is because it uses a comical/historical way of portrayal about the social issues these days. For examples: bribes, publicity (media) and etc. Haha. It’s fun to watch these things in a period drama. =))) And did I mention about Yi Nok yet? She’s damn cute! I think she will pose off like a guy without being doubts, look at this picture. Totally like a pretty boy!!! XD Those manly kind one. =P Even though I feel like hitting her to senses sometimes cuz she is just plainly toooo stupid. *coughs* And she’s forever eating and eating!!! >_ hahaha… but nonetheless, she can be good in crying scenes like this too… TT______TT Damn sad to see her cry lah, cuz she’s the only who is forever smiling and laughing in the drama. Oh, and I know I said before that I am attracted to Jang Geun Suk’s character: Chang Hwui for the first few episodes, right? But I supposed I am going to overthrow that thinking due to Gil Dong’s charm on me. lols. Can’t blame me, cuz I think sometimes Jang Geun Suk looks really weird in scenes when he is like this… I just feel plain creepy whenever I see this smile of his… =.= and like this… And when he’s acting superior (cuz he’s the king-to-be) and he will just lower his chin, showing off his eye whites and glare into the camera like that. =.= I can’t stand those scenes, for some reasons. He doesn’t seem like a king-to-be in those scenes too, much of it like a going-to-be-mad person. =S Anyways, the Hwal Bin Dang has a whole lot of interesting fellas too!!! I like Gomi especially!!! The only kid who survived throughout; the kid who thinks he don’t deserved to be happy and etc. HE JUST SUCH A HEARTTHROB OKAY!!! XP Oh oh oh!!! The OST is a must-listen!!! It’s super nice!!! Especially Taeyeon’s “IF”!!!! Oh gosh… I think I wrote too much. haha.
