Jon came home {finally!}

My dearest brother has returned from his first 2 weeks of army. You might be wondering “2 weeks isn’t so long” right? Let me tell you: It is FREAKING long!!! And Jon looks funny with his army haircut. Like erm…. he just have very nice hair to touch =) Anyways, we ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant. Honestly, it is at a location which I don’t like the most. I mean I honestly dislike that place, but mum and dad promised that there was nice Jap food. So my mouth was tight lipped about my opinions of that place. The restaurant is really worth trying! It has this Ala-carte Buffet Lunch/Dinner. So you pay 1 price and eat as much as you want from the menu. And OMG, the sashimi is sooooo fresh!! Overall, the food there was truly AWESOME! The service? Eh I will give about 3-3.5/5. The restaurant can’t hire too many staff, since the space of the restaurant is realtively packed already. So it is like the law of diminshing returns =D Told you I was studying my microeconomics. Today is 080808, which is considered lucky amongst the Chinese =) So tonight, we are going to watch the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics =) and tomorrow is Singapore’s National Day!! Speaking of National Day, I’m unable to make it for today’s school celebrations. It is sort of optional but you have to leave your name behind if you are going for it. I honestly feel bad for pulling out, but my parents just came up with this lunch thingy this afternoon like super last minute x.x And I really miss Jon, so I guess family comes first? Jon told us a lot of funny army stories, like how this idiotic guy shouted the wrong command when he was throwing a grenade. OMG. And Dad and Jon told me that normally those girls who opted to go for National Service when it is for guys mainly tend to be very military-type. Like really military. Not much female-ness in them ? Got to go study =D
