life and death flashed at that moment….
The reason why I didn’t go to school today for my lessons was because of what happened last night. Me and Jon were involved in a minor car accident. Which really shocked me hard. I was badly traumatised by what happened. Behind us was this young man on his motorbike, and then Jon wanted to turn right, while the young man was on our right but he wanted to continue going up the road. Then when Jon turned, both vehicles obviously clashed. All this happened on a 1 way road, 1 lane. So that means the motorbike was supposed to be behind us, not on our right or left. I am too tired to say all the blaming going on, but I sincerely thank God that the young man wore his helmet with the eye shield covering his eyes. He landed on his shoulder then his back, so I really thank God that his head was protected. His helmet was scratched with white vertical lines, so if he didn’t wore his helmet, I guess his eyes and face would be badly grazed x.x The ambulance came, then after the paramedics checked on him, Jon and the man’s family started talking about how to settle this accident. Then my uncle came (cause I called up my mum who called my uncle to come down). Later the police came. OMG. Like who called the police?!?!? Even the motorcyclist joked “hey, who called in the Police ah?” Police came, took some info from both drivers. Around the same time, mum managed to come down from the hospital. She was there with dad cause dad swallowed a fish bone. It was found to be 4 cm long later x.x I must admit at that moment of the collision, I thought we just killed a young man in front of his family, who was waiting at the end of the road. It was really scary and I just sat in the car for like 5 mins. I really thank God that no one got seriously injured, otherwise me and Jon and those who witnessed what happened would be making police statements. Life is so precious… Later that night when everyone called it a day from what happened, we had a family prayer. I mean my dad had a freaking long fish bone in his throat that threatened to be of danger, while me and Jon were in a car accident? Strangely for the whole night from midnight to seven this morning, could not sleep at all. Kept walking out of my room, drank water, tried to sleep, but simply couldn’t. In the end, I just told mum I wished to sleep in and not go to school cause I was so exhausted by what happened and worse off, not being able to sleep for even 1 min. Slept then woke up at noon, only to turn on my laptop, my members telling me to come down for our project meeting asap. Showered and took a cab to school. Long day, but it was really something to make people think what life is worth to them. Thank goodness, we are like 90% done with our business website for the project and our group portfolio is done too. Just need to edit the colours for the portfolio and make our logo and twitch some photos and we are done. Wow. Long day, longer experience.
