Olympic Medal

Singapore finally ended its 48-year wait for a medal thanks to the superb 3-2 display by our Table Tennis girls yesterday against Korea. To those who still feel that our Olympic medals shouldn’t be won by ‘foreign talent’..just shut up. Stop being so ignorant and narrow-minded. So many countries send Chinese paddlers to compete in the Olympics..so if you want to be an ass about it, it’s really China vs China vs China vs China x infinity. Instead of thinking that the girls aren’t good enough for us, all Singaporeans should THANK them for coming to Singapore, and for wearing our national colours to compete in the Olympics. They are certainly more ‘Singaporean’ than those who put them down. They are certainly more worthy to be ‘Singaporeans’ too. They’ve won us an Olympic medal, what have you done?
