Public Spat

Is anybody really interested in the public spat between Singapore’s top badminton and table tennis players? I’m guessing their childish exchange of words (actually..only from Li Jiawei..Susilo has been a gentleman as usual) is interesting to read..but does it really warrant 3 cover stories across Sports, Home, and the main news section? My god, settle it maturely! I have to admit I had realllly mean thoughts when I read about it because I have never liked Li Jiawei and the way she handles the media..so the first thing that came to my mind was, “Stupid ***** female”. Anyway, it’s great that she’s earning a lot, but does she need to brag about it in order to hit back at Susilo? She laughed off Susilo’s claim….”I have the ability to earn my own money - why do I need someone else to buy things for me?” she has declared. Yah yah, whatever, you are rich. Then just return the god damn money to your ex-fiance. If you don’t even owe him anything in the first place, shut up, and settle things professionally behind closed doors. The nation does not need to know how you “are a girl and these things will upset” you. Any guy who gets a girlfriend like you have the right to be upset too.
