Virgil
Its 6.58 am on Holy Thursday. The day before it all happens, 2008 years ago, approximately. I’ve kept a virgil, having not slept since 10 am the previous night. Only because I had duty to do and not so much because I intended to keep a virgil. Am awfully tired now, my body seems to be plagued with a muscular weakness, and I’m burning feverish. Doing duty whilst sick is perhaps not ideal. But we put up with it, once in awhile. For our country right?(very much the rhetoric) Even as I was trying to write this more work burst from no where. Its quite horrendous, seeing how I’m inexperienced and all but being thrown in to the midst of everything. Than again its with a bit of satisfaction that as I disseminate(this is the word of choice) the reports I end with REC Byron Karuppiah. It is something to be proud of I guess, seeing how every other report of this nature is ended with a rank that would make REC insignificant, not that it isn’t. Half an hour more and I’d be leaving for home… update: Just as we entered the conference room for the brief, my duty supervisor says to me, “I usually would do the brief but you should do it today”. Than he went on, probably unintentionally to say in a borat-esque manner “break your virgin”. Oh, I left 1 hour and fifteen minutes later…not half an hour.
